Boonli

“Order Lunches” was a company started to support schools that didn’t have cafeterias, allowing them to place lunch orders daily based on need/attendance. Realizing they'd created a software platform with a flexible backend that could serve a variety of other sectors, they quickly came to a logical conclusion: They needed to order up a new name and a new brand.

A boon is a blessing.

A boon is a blessing.

Drawing inspiration from the beneficial nature of the company’s origins, Boonli sprang to life—a word-derivative as unique as the software itself. In creating the logo, we designed a visual representation of the uninterrupted flow using the software offered users during their busy day. Simple, soothing, pleasant—never an interruption.

Beyond the brown bag.

As lead designer, I designed the brand identity and directed the team in building out an intuitive digital solution. One that was flexible enough to scale for school lunch programs and corporate enterprise operations—as well as grow to stand for payments, program management, catering, ordering and more.

Order up.

Order up.

With a software interface and UI as pleasant and their new mark suggests, parents, vendors and administrators quickly adapted to the rebrand. Additionally, we extended the brand to include a foundation to help parents, administrators, companies and caterers stay organized and connect.
